Mike works as a full-time lecturer at Salford University delivering the strength and conditioning elements of the sport rehabilitation undergrad degree. Around this, he works as the head performance coach for Andy Robertson—2021, 2020 and 2017 GB 60m Champion. He is also a performance specialist for GB Basketball and Basketball England.
Previously Mike has worked with other track and field athletes including Trinity Powell, Jess Jemmet, Clovis Asong, and several other sprinters, jumpers, and multi-event athletes. He has also worked with the Ministry of Defence and consulted in professional football and rugby union.
His future PhD research will be based around sprinting biomechanics and hamstring injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation concepts.
