Share practical, original work that helps coaches and sports performance professionals make better decisions.
Start with an idea, not a full draft. Send a short pitch and outline first so our editors can help shape the best angle before you invest time writing.
How the Contributor Process Works
1. Submit Your Article Idea and Outline
Start with an idea, not a full draft
Please submit a short pitch and outline through the SimpliFaster Author Portal. Do not write a full article until an editor invites you to develop the draft.
A pitch helps our editors confirm that the topic, angle, and practical value are a strong fit before you invest time writing.
What to include in your pitch
- A working title.
- A 2-4 sentence summary of the article idea.
- The intended audience and the problem the article helps solve.
- A brief outline with 3-6 planned sections.
- The main takeaway readers should be able to apply.
- Your relevant coaching, sport science, therapy, or technology experience.
- Your visual plan, including original photos, charts, screenshots, or videos if applicable.
- Any original data, examples, case studies, or athlete/team experiences you plan to include.
- Sources, references, or outside experts you expect to cite.
- Your name, email address, and a short professional introduction.
What happens after you pitch
- Submit your idea and create an Author Portal account.
- Receive editorial feedback if the idea is a possible fit.
- Develop a draft only if an editor invites you to proceed.
- Revise with the editorial team and prepare accepted work for publication.
- An invitation to draft does not guarantee publication.
What we look for
- Practical and useful guidance for coaches and sports performance professionals.
- A specific topic, not a broad overview.
- Firsthand evidence from coaching, testing, training, rehab, or sport technology use.
- A clear point of view in the author’s own voice.
- Advice the reader can apply, test, or adapt.
- Original visuals that clarify the instruction.
- Educational content, not promotional copy.
Potential subjects include speed development, training, skill acquisition, athlete monitoring, recovery, return to play, biomechanics, testing, strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, planning, equipment, and sport technology. Current editorial needs may be more specific, so the pitch process helps us match your idea with the best angle.
