David Maris

About David Maris

David Maris is an assistant coach at University St. Thomas, an NCAA Division 3 institution in Houston, as well as a British masters sprint athlete. He represented the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, at the British University Championships and graduated with a degree in sport and exercise science (BSc). Maris holds both British and U.S. certifications in coaching sprints. Between living in the United Kingdom and the United States, he spent five years in Dubai running his own business coaching youth athletes’ speed development and sprints for the Ultimate Athletics track and field club. His training philosophy centers around a holistic approach to speed development.
