Brett Platts

About Brett Platts

Brett Platts is a strength and conditioning coach within the Texas Rangers organization. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He joins the Rangers organization for the 2023 season, taking part in leading their Single-A affiliate, the Down East Wood Ducks. Prior to joining the Rangers, he took part in the development of DSL players in the Chicago Cubs organization for the ’22 season. Past experience has Platts working with high school baseball players at the Okotoks Dawgs Academy and in a strength and conditioning internship at the University of Iowa. Platts is a former collegiate baseball player who enjoys improving the qualities of strength, power, and speed to further long-term player development.
