Alex Shafiro, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, SFG, is a board-certified orthopedic specialist with more than 15 years of clinical experience. He works as a clinical lead at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, treating sports medicine injuries with a specialization in hip preservation. He works with active individuals as well as amateur to professional athletes. Alex lectures in sports and orthopedic residency programs and participates in clinical research in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. He is certified in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, dry needling, strength and conditioning, and kettlebell training.
