Mat Clark has been the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Track and Field and Cross Country at the University of Arkansas since 2014. During his tenure, the Razorback Men’s and Women’s teams have won six NCAA team championships, including both the Men’s and Women’s team titles at the 2023 NCAA Indoor Championships.
Mat continues to train a group of professional track athletes who make their home base at the University of Arkansas.
Mat holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s degree in physical education from the University of Arkansas. He is certified through the NSCA and USAW.
Prior to Arkansas, Mat competed in the decathlon at the University of Northern Iowa, earning three All-American honors and a trip to the 2008 Olympic Trials.
