John Barresse

About John Barresse

John Barresse has been a Certified Athletic Trainer at Wesleyan School in Georgia since July 2019. Prior to that, he was the Lead Athletic Trainer for Mid-Columbia Medical Center in Oregon, assigned to The Dalles High School. In addition to his duties at the high school, John managed three other certified athletic trainers providing medical services for seven schools. Along with his experience in high school athletic training, John has a wealth of orthopedic knowledge, having worked for 10 years in an orthopedic clinic.

During his tenure in Bend, Oregon, he earned his certification as an orthopedic technician and put his skills to work as a surgical assistant in the operating room. John earned an undergraduate degree from Eastern Oregon University in 2003 and has been a board-certified athletic trainer since June 2003. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Oregon in 2005. John is licensed to practice athletic training in the state of Georgia and is CPR, AED, and First Aid certified.
