Connor Ryder is in his first year as Strength and Conditioning Coach for Women’s Lacrosse, Women’s Crew, Gymnastics, and Women’s Swim at Brown University. He came to the role following two years with the Boston Red Sox as a Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach at multiple levels. Before that, he completed graduate school at Springfield College, where he was a graduate assistant leading football, baseball, T&F throwers, and women’s gymnastics. He has previously held internship positions with UNC-Chapel Hill football, as well as spending two years as an intern with his alma-mater, UMass Amherst.
Connor hosts the SC Mafia Strength and Conditioning Podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. On the podcast, he speaks with other alumni of Springfield College Strength and Conditioning and discusses where they are, where they’ve been, and where they’re going since their time on Alden Street.
Connor graduated from UMass Amherst in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree of Kinesiology and holds a master’s of science in strength and conditioning from Springfield College. He holds certifications through the NSCA, USAW, and FMS.
